Elsmere Roadway Resurfacing Project

 

Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Elsmere for the Roadway Resurfacing Project. The scope of work includes resurfacing multiple city-maintained streets as identified in the full work summary. The project includes the following street segments:

 

  1. Palace from Main to the east end

  2. Ripple Creek from 125’ north of Grouse Court to the end

  3. Creeknoll Court

  4. Glenn

  5. Central Row from Ripple Creek to Timberlake

  6. Eastern Avenue from 208 Eastern to the cul de sac

 

  The following segments are included in the project quantities but may need to be resurfaced in the spring 

  of 2026  after concrete work and edge drains have been installed or may be removed from the scope of work 

 based on the availability of funding:

 

  1. Brady Court

  2. Luke Lane 

 

Last Day for Questions shall be June 16, 2025 by 5:00 pm. 

Last Addendum shall be issued on June 19, 2025 by 5:00 pm. Contractors are encouraged to utilize local Vendors and Suppliers.

Bids must be delivered to Attn: Chris Zerhusen, Public Works Director, 3921 Dixie Highway, Elsmere, KY 41018, before 2:00 PM prevailing local time on Monday, June 23, 2025. Any bids received after this time will not be considered.

 

The City of Elsmere (OWNER) reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. This contract is considered a Lump Sum Contract. OWNER reserves the right to negotiate with apparent successful bidder as necessary to meet the needs of OWNER.

 

Each BIDDER must deposit with its bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions set forth in the Instructions to Bidders.

 

No BIDDER may withdraw its Bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

 

No price escalation during the time of the Construction Contract shall be considered.
